This notice explains what personal information Wild & Woof collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Wild & Woof is a sole trader business run by Vicki and based in Arundel, West Sussex. Wild & Woof is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us on 07946 774081.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the form on this website, we collect:
- your name
- your phone number
- your email address
- your town or village
- the type of pet you have
- the service you are interested in
- anything you write in your message
How we use it
We use this information to reply to your enquiry, arrange a meet-and-greet and, if you go ahead, provide the walks, visits or sitting you book. We rely on the fact that you asked us to get in touch, and on taking steps you have asked for before agreeing a booking.
How long we keep it
If you send an enquiry and do not go on to book, we delete your details within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep your contact details and your pet's care notes while we are looking after your pets, and delete the care notes once we stop. We keep booking and payment records for 6 years, because the law requires us to keep business and tax records.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information or share it for marketing. We only share it when we need to:
- with the companies that run our website, email and phone services, so we can receive and reply to your enquiry
- with WhatsApp, which we use to send you photo and message updates. WhatsApp is run by Meta, so some of your information, such as your phone number, may be processed outside the UK
- with our insurer, if we ever need to make a claim
- with a vet, if your pet needs urgent care while we are looking after them
- with the police, HMRC or other authorities, if the law requires us to
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, call us on 07946 774081.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
